Monday Night RAW - 1st April 2019

Stephanie McMahon comes out to kick off Monday Night RAW and says that the Main Event of Wrestlemania is now a WINNER TAKE ALL, with Charlotte Flairs Smackdown Live Championship now on the line along with Ronda Rouseys RAW Womens Championship.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman then come down to the ring with Heyman saying that he finds it poetic that Stephanie said that the Womens match is now a Winner Takes All match because Brock will take all of what Seth Rollins has to offer on Sunday, take his best shot and then take all that Seth has in life because Lesnar defines his own legacy at Wrestlemania and can do what he wants, just like when he ended the Undertakers Streak. Paul says that Universal Champion will end the Architects career at Wrestlemania along with violating Seth and desecrate the name of Wrestlemania, only to go out for dinner afterwards because Seth is just a afterthought to Brock. Rollins was fed up of listening to Paul Heyman so he comes out and says that this is the biggest match of both mens careers because next Monday, Lesnar wont be able to come round and bully everyone because no one wants him around and without the Championship he wont have a leg to stand on. Brock just laughs the comments off and tries to leave the ring, only for the ‘Beast Slayer’ to drag him back and low blow him. German Suplex wasn’t enough as once again, Seth hit a low blow, superkick and then hit the Stomp on the Universal Champion.

Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Iconics, Nia Jax and Tamina - Nia Jax and Tamina ditched the Iconics but stayed around ringside. Beth Phoenix and Sasha Banks were having it out all match and at one point, Beth pushed Sasha off the apron so she could tag herself in, she then put Tamina through the time keepers area after Tamina had held a rope down meaning that Phoenix landed on the outside. Peyton Royce then dragged The Glamazon back into the ring only for Beth to counter her into a Glamslam to pick up the win via Pinfall. After the match, The ‘Divas of Doom’ squared off with The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection.

Batista comes out and points us to a video package of every time he beat Triple H, along with The Games promo last week saying ‘If he can’t beat Batista, he deserves to retire’. The Hollywood Star then gets on the mic and simple says 'Hunter, Kiss my arse' and walks off, the guy is unreal.

Apollo Crews vs Jinder Mahal - This was a very short and strange match. All the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale competitors were on the outside for some reason, Apollo Crews hits a frog splash to pick up the win, they then all brawl in the ring with Apollo once again coming out on top.

Kurt Angle comes out to thank the fans as it was his last ever Monday Night RAW appearance, We then got a hard hitting video package of Angles career before Baron Corbin comes out to ruin the party, saying that Kurt is nothing more than a broken old man who cant compete with the wrestlers of today. The Olympic Gold Medalist offers to have a match with Corbin now but Baron declines it, but not before teasing it. Rey Mysterio then comes out and offers a match which once again is turned down but this time Corbin strikes Rey while he wasn’t prepared, but it didn’t last long as desecrate Mysterio and Kurt batter The Former GM of RAW.

Ricochet and Aleister Black vs Revival (c) (RAW Tag Team Championship match) - Great match once again between the 2 teams with Dash Wilder being the MVP after hitting a excellent looking Gory Bomb to Ricochet aswell as hitting a sick tornado DDT to Aleister Black on the outside using the the barricade as some sort of ramp. Ricochet then did his over the ring post spot but that would eventually cost the NXT stars the match as Ricochet failed to beat the count back into the ring as Scott Dawson hid under the ring
and grabbed the former NXT North American Champions leg and the Revival keep their Tag Team Championships via Count Out. After the match The 2019 Dusty Rhodes classic winners beat up the Revival with a Black mass to both Dawson and Wilder and then Ricochet hitting a 630 onto Dawson.

Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs Riott Squad - This match had a stipulation where if anyone of Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair strike their own team mates during the match, they will be kicked out of the Wrestlemania main event. All 3 of them were trying to goad each other to hitting them before Ronda tagged herself in, squared up with Charlotte only for Liv Morgan to try and roll the RAW Womens Champion up, only for Rousey to roll out of it, lock in a arm bar to pick up the win, seconds after the bell rang, The former UFC Champion jumped on Flair and a mass brawl broke out, All 3 got put into handcuffs by Police and struggled to the back stage area where they got put in the back of some cop cars. Ronda and Becky ended up in the same car somehow and started to kick the crap out of each other with Rousey kicking the glass out of one of the windows. Ronda then drove a car somehow into another car but the cops managed to get her into the back of the car again, she lent out the window she kicked through to start trash talking Becky and Charlotte only for The Smackdown Live Womens Champion to hit a massive knee to Ronda with her head htting the door, it looked awesome, I loved every bit of this segment purely because of how hectic it was.

Heavy Machinery vs Bobby Roode and Chad Gable - Short match, Lacey Evans interferes half way through, Heavy Machinery pick up the win via Pinfall.

Braun Strowman vs 2 Jobbers - Yeah this happened

Baron Corbin vs Rey Mysterio - Another match which was abit lackluster, Baron Corbin hitting the Deep Six on Rey Mysterio to pick up the victory, but after the match as Corbin was Celebrating, Kurt Angle came out and put Baron into a Ankle Lock and we saw the visual of Angle making Corbin tap out.

Monday Night RAW Rating - 3 and a 1/4 stars

Could’ve easily been a much higher rating if they ended it before the 3rd hour, by that last hour completely ran out of steam unfortunately.
